Pepijn, born in 2000 in Arnhem (Netherlands), starts dancing at the age of 8 in the modern dance group “Boys Action” lead by Wil and Elise Boom. Following the advise of Wil, 12-year old Pepijn joins the pre education program at Codarts Rotterdam. After 2,5 years of training mainly in modern dance, he chooses to shift his focus on ballet by entering The Royal Conservatoire The Hague. One year later Pepijn returns to his hometown and joins the pre education at ArtEZ Arnhem to finish school and get his high school diploma. In 2017 he becomes a student at the School of the Hamburg Ballet. After graduating in 2019 Pepijn becomes a member of National Youth Ballet of Germany, starting in season 2019/20. He is proud and grateful to be a part of this very creative group of dancers and happy to be lead by Kevin Haigen. He is looking forward to grow as a dancer, artist and person.
